Vanessa Barmack General Counsel and Secretary Vanessa Barmack is Sonder's General Counsel and Secretary and joined Sonder in November 2021. Prior to joining Sonder, Vanessa was a partner in the real estate practice group at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, based in the firm’s New York City office from 2013 to November 2021. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Redlands and a Juris Doctorate from University of Notre Dame.
